"new york post" reporting that job numbers during last year's presidential campaign were manipulated to the president's favor by people in the census bureau which is responsible for the stats. the white house quickly denied any wrongdoing. >> that story is obviously misleading. i think a lot of people shed a lot of credibility engaging in conspiracy theories last fall without, you know, rigged jobs numbers. i have to tell you as somebody who has been here for a long time one month after month after month the jobs numbers came in and then later were revised upward, sure didn't feel like they were helping us. >> however, president obama did use the job numbers in question on the campaign trail. >> this morning we found out that the unemployment rate has fallen to its lowest level since i took office. us tonight. how obamacare is exacting american politics, that is the subject of this evening's talking points memo. last night in virginia terry mcauliff big fundraiser for bill clinton won won by a 5,000 votes. it wasn't supposed to be that close. it was against ken cuccinelli. according to 53% of dislike. 46% think it's fine. in new jersey the republican governor chris christie. had advice for president obama. >> don't be so cute. and when you make a mistake, admit it it now, listen, if it was a mistake in 2009. if he was mistaken in 2009, 2010 on his understanding, of how the law would operate, then just admit it to people. you know what? i said it, i was wrong. i'm sorry. and we're going to try to fix it and make it better. i think people would give any leader in that circumstance a lot of credit for just owning up to it instead of now trying to -- don't lawyer it. people don't like lawyers. i'm a lawyer. they don't like them. >> governor christie is on the mark. mr. obama should just admit the fiasco that is the rollout of obamacare. delay the law for a year and give the

'reilly. thanks for watching us tonight. the nuclear option, that is the subject of this evening's talking points memo. today, breaking 225 years of precedent, the u.s. senate voted 52-48 to invoke the so-called nuclear option allowing confirmation for most presidential nominees by simple majority. in other words, the senate voted to severely limit the use of the filibuster. one of the few tools a minority party has in our representative democracy. senate dems led by nun -- none other than harry reid they have been incensed that g.o.p. colleagues have blocked primarily three nominees. will someone call 911? because the democrats seem to be suffering from a wicked case of amnesia. you see, they were against the nuclear option before they were for it. >> this filibuster is not a scheme and it certainly isn't new. the filibuster is far from a procedural gimmick. it's part of the fabric of this institution we call the senate. >> and what about then senator obama's view? >> the american people want less partisanship. in the majority chooses to end the filibuster and change the rules and put an end to
'reilly. thanks for watching us tonight. will obama care be the end of modern liberalism? is that is the subject of this evening's talking points memo. more bad news for president obama today. new quinnipiac poll shows american voters disapproving of his job performae by a 54 to 39% margin. the 39% is the president's lowest approval rating since he took office. white american voters disapprove of mr. obama by a whopping 62 to 32. hispanics disapprove 47 to 41. black american voters approve of the president's job performance 75% to 15. among young voters ages 15 to 3. just 36% approve of the john the president is doing. 56 disapprove. finally 52% of american voters say barack obama is not honest and trustworthy. that's a disaster. and that is what is driving all the chaos in washington. the president said on a number of occasions that americans could keep their healthcare plans they liked them. that turned out not to be the case. that is driving mr. obama's poll numbers down. now the bigger picture. last night on the factor, charles krauthammer opined that the obamacare debacle may single the end

for watching us tonight. the real cost of obamacare. that is the subject of this evening's talking points memo. as you may know, president obama has said in the past that the affordable healthcare law will eventually make healthcare less expensive in america. it might happen. probably not. according to an op. ed today in the "wall street journal," spending on healthcare will reach almost $3 trillion this year alone: that's more than 25% above what was spent in 2007. in fact the center for medicare and medicaid estimate healthcare spending will rise to a trillion dollars a year in this country in 20022. so, again, this is the affordable healthcare law, is it not? not me, not profitable business people. my medicare payroll tax up big time. there is now a 3.8% tax hike on investment income for american households taking in $250,000 or more a year. there are also new taxes on medical equipment, medical insurance companies, charitable hospitals and drug companies. all of those taxes will be passed back to we the people in the form of higher fees. truth is that no one, no one accept those receiving
